(BALTIMORE) — After an incredible postseason run that resulted in a Super Bowl title, the Baltimore Ravens finally returned home to play a game at M&T Bank Stadium.
Torrey Smith hauled in a 77-yard touchdown pass from Joe Flacco, and the Ravens topped the Atlanta Falcons 27-23 on Thursday night to improve to 2-0 in the preseason.
Matt Ryan looked exceptionally sharp for the Falcons, throwing for 97 yards and a touchdown to Julio Jones. The Falcons led the game 23-7, before the Ravens’ backups rallied with a 20-point fourth quarter that won them the game.
“We’re just happy to come away with the win,” running back Ray Rice said after carrying the ball eight times for 10 yards. “Our young guys are really improving. That’s special to us.”
