Tribal Police Use Spike Strips in Pursuit

(FORT HALL, ID) – Fort Hall Tribal Police were involved in a pursuit along U.S. Highway 91 north of Chubbuck Thursday night. Officials say the chase started at about 7:30 p.m. when a driver refused to pull over. A slow-speed pursuit ensued, with officers ultimately having to use spike strips to puncture the fleeing driver’s tires. As of Thursday night, authorities did not state whether or not an arrest was made. An investigation is ongoing.
