TMZ reports the actress is paired with pro dancer Tristan MacManus for the 17th season of Dancing with the Stars.

Harper’s career hasn’t exactly come to a halt since her diagnosis. The 74-year-old recently began production on a cable TV movie, The Town That Came A-Courtin’. She’ll also join her Mary Tyler Moore Show co-stars Mary Tyler Moore, Betty White, Cloris Leachman and Georgia Engel in an episode of White’s TV Land comedy, Hot in Cleveland, next Wednesday.

Hot in Cleveland actress Wendie Malick tells ABC News Radio it “doesn’t surprise” her that Harper is rumored to be in the Dancing with the Stars mix, and adds, “When I saw her, this woman just was so not ready to go. Absolutely not. And I think she’s someone who’s just going to keep going until the universe stops her.”

While Malick has never seen Harper dance, she’s sure that whatever Harper “may lack in dancing chops…she’ll make up for with her personality.”

TMZ also says Harper will join other rumored contestants, including actresses Elizabeth Berkley, Amber Riley, Christina Milian and Leah Remini, along with former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson and reality star Snooki.

ABC declined to comment on the TMZ report.  The network will unveil the cast for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars September 4 on Good Morning America.

The 17th season of Dancing with the Stars premieres Sept. 16.
