(GREEN BAY, Wis.) — The Green Bay Packers signed quarterback Vince Young to a one-year deal Monday, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.
The 30-year-old was reportedly signed after having an impressive workout with the team.
Young, the third pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, was cut by the Buffalo Bills last summer and hasn’t played in the NFL since 2011 with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Young is expected to battle with Graham Harrell for the backup job.
In six NFL seasons, Young has thrown for 8,964 yards, 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions.
