Woman Charged With Felony After Chase

(CHUBBUCK, ID) – A Pocatello woman is facing a felony eluding charge after leading police on a high speed chase Sunday night. Investigators say Sonja Tendoy didn’t pull over when a sheriff’s deputy attempted a routine traffic stop north of Chubbuck. Tendoy was driving at speeds in excess of 75 miles per hour, and even struck another car at the intersection of Yellowstone and Chubbuck. Tendoy kept driving after the crash and pulled into an apartment complex along Yellowstone where she stopped. She was tased and immediately taken into custody. Tendoy was also charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence.
