Bengals Rally to Beat the Packers, 34-30

Getty S 111212 Dalton?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1379885272970Andy Lyons/Getty Images(CINCINNATI) — It wasn’t easy, but the Cincinnati Bengals managed to rally back on Sunday to defeat the Green Bay Packers 34-30 on Sunday and improve to 2-1 on the season.

The Bengals were trailing 30-14 with under five minutes to go in the third quarter when the Bengals stormed back thanks to their offense and defense.

A.J. Green and Marvin Jones both caught touchdown passes after to make the game 30-27 in the fourth quarter. The Packers were looking to make a late-quarter touchdown drive when Bengals cornerback Terrance Newman returned a fumble 58 yards for the touchdown.

Both team’s struggled with turnovers on the day, as teh Packers and Bengals each turned the ball over four times.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 235 yards with two touchdowns on the day, while rookie running back Giovani Bernard continues to make plays for the Bengals on offense. He totaled 99 yards of total offense while also scoring a touchdown.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers struggled as he threw for 244 yards with a touchown, but also threw two interceptions.
