(ARCO, ID) – A body has been found in the search for two Boise women who went missing in Craters of the Moon National Monument. Sixty-nine-year-old Amy Linkert and 63-year-old Jo Elliot-Blakeslee left Boise last Thursday and were supposed to return from their hiking trip on Saturday. A search and rescue effort was launched Tuesday morning. A body was found about two miles southwest of the Tree Mold Trail parking lot Wednesday evening. Authorities have not stated whether or not it was one of the missing hikers. At this point, authorities do not suspect foul play.
