“Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2” Leads Weekend Box Office

Comstock/Thinkstock(LOS ANGELES) — Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 topped the box office bringing in $35 million in its opening weekend.

The animated sequel features the voices of Hollywood stars including Neil Patrick Harris, Anna Faris, Bill Hader, and Andy Samberg.

In second place at the box office was Prisoners with $11.3 million.

The Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal kidnapping drama brought in over $20 million last weekend.

Rush came in third with $10.3 million.

The dramatic flick stars Chris Hemsworth as 1970’s English playboy and racecar driver James Hunt.
