Early Monday morning, Boyett was arrested outside a downtown nightclub. He was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting law enforcement. He was released from jail following a meeting with a judge and posting $150 bond.

According to the police report, Boyett was upset after he was not allowed to enter the nightclub because he was “too intoxicated.”

Boyett’s reasoning for resisting law enforcement? He apparently told police that he couldn’t be arrested because he’s a “Colts player.”

The report also says that it took four officers to subdue him.

Boyett was a sixth-round pick by the Colts out of Oregon. He was in the mix to contribute to the team this year, but was promptly placed on the team’s reserve/non-football injury list.
