“Totally disappointed and embarrassed by that kind of football,” Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said of the Giants’ six turnovers. “That’s sloppy, sloppy football. You have control of yourself. You have to recognize situations that are going to lead to those kind of things and you can’t turn the ball over. You can’t win turning the football over. That’s the bottom line.”

Eli Manning completed 27-of-42 passes for 450 yards and four touchdowns but he also had three interceptions, including one to Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr with under two minutes left in the game. Carr took the pick 49 yards for the game-clinching touchdown.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo completed 36-of-49 passes for 263 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the win. Romo was injured on the second-to-last play of the first half and had to leave the game when he took a hit to the ribs. But the 33-year-old returned in the second half, throwing his second touchdown pass of the game to Jason Witten, helping the Cowboys win the game.

The Giants trailed 27-10 with under two minutes to go in the third quarter, but were able to cut the lead to 30-24 when Manning found Victor Cruz for their third touchdown of the game. Just two drives later, Manning was picked off by Carr.

The six turnovers were the most the Giants had in a game since 1987.
