(FORT HALL, ID) – Idaho State Police responded to a hit-and-run crash on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation Sunday night. Authorities say 37-year-old Brook Jensen of Blackfoot was headed southbound along U.S. Highway 91 when an eastbound vehicle on Ferry Butte Road failed to yield at the highway. The driver and the passenger in the other vehicle immediately fled the scene on foot. Jensen and five passengers, all of whom were children, were wearing seat belts and were uninjured. Officials have not indicated if those who fled the scene were later arrested. The accident remains under investigation.
