Flash Flood Warning

  Published at  | Updated at

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Bonneville County on Sunday, 8 September 2013. The warning is in effect until 9:45pm, and includes most of the northwestern part of the county, including Idaho Falls. Areas near Osgood are expected to be hit the hardest. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and stream, as well as highways and underpasses. Additionally, country roads and farmlands along the banks of creeks are at risk.

To avoid possible dangerous situations, avoid driving in low-lying areas, and stay out of the rain if at all possible. For more up to date news, check with the National Weather Service website at http://www.weather.gov/.
