Human Remains Found Inside Costa Concordia
(ROME) -- When the Costa Concordia cruise ship capsized off the Italian coast last year, 30 people died and two were reported missing.
Now, their remains may have been found.
Following the 19-hour parbuckling operation last week that pulled the cruise liner upright, divers have discovered bones inside the ship.
The head of Italy's Civil Protection agency says the discovery, which comes 20 months after the Costa Concordia struck a reef near Giglio Island on Jan. 13, 2012, is nothing short of a miracle.
The human remains will next be subjected to DNA testing so that they can be identified.
