Idaho Among Worst in Male-on-Female Murders
Published at | Updated at(BOISE, ID) – A gun control group seeking bans on various kinds of popular firearms is setting its sights on Idaho. The Violence Policy Center is pointing at a disturbing statistic related to domestic violence in the Gem State. According to a report released this week, Idaho ranks seventh in the nation for its rate of women killed by men. With 1.77 deaths per 100,000 people, it’s much higher than the national rate of only 1.17. They say it’s clear data suggesting that Idahoans need to do more to crack down on violence against women.
