(BOISE, ID) – A Tennessee-based company is reducing the cost of its Internet service to some Idaho schools amid complaints from state lawmakers. Education Networks of America wanted to be paid a flat fee of $2.11 million per year. However, the state only wants to pay for schools who want to actually use the service, which would save more than $150,000. A total of 203 Idaho schools have signed up to use ENA’s Wi-Fi so far, which state Superintendent Tom Luna hopes will encourage teachers to implement more technology in their classrooms.
