Job Fair for Displaced INL Workers

(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —  Two dozen employers and organizations have already agreed to participate in a Job Fair run by the Idaho Department of Labor.  It is set for Tuesday Oct. 1 for workers laid off from the Idaho National Laboratory.   The fair runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Idaho Falls office, 1515 E. Lincoln Rd.

Participants will include Compa Industries, CenturyLink, Executive Training Resources, Idaho Division of Human Resources, Alliant Corp., Rocky Mountain Recruiting, Klim, Idahoan Foods, E2 Consulting, Home Depot, HukariAscendent Inc., Manwaring Web Solutions Inc., Reach Beyond, Platt Electric, Intelligent Employment Solutions, Pearl Health, Score, the Enterprise and Business Development Center, Docutech, CH2M Hill, Idaho State University, the University of Idaho and Idaho Department of Labor’s disabled veterans outreach program and its local veterans employment representative.

While organized for former INL workers, the fair is open to all job seekers, who should bring their résumés and be prepared to talk with hiring staff from these companies. Local human resource professionals will be available to critique résumés from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m..
