LDS Missionary On Life Support After Crash
Published at | Updated at(ROCKFORD, ID) – A local LDS missionary is clinging to his life after a car accident west of Blackfoot Tuesday evening. Idaho State Police say the accident happened at the intersection of State Highway 39 and 100 South in Rockford shortly before 6 p.m. Authorities say the missionaries ran a stop sign along 100 South and were struck by a pickup headed southbound along the highway. Nineteen-year-old Taylor Ward of Vacaville, California remains at Portneuf Medical Center.
Twenty-year-old John Floyd of Deep Run, North Carolina, who police identified as the driver, was taken to Bingham Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup was unhurt.
