It is hard to determine the level of expectation for the Lakers this year, with Kobe Bryant still recovering from a torn left Achilles suffered near the end of last season.

“No real expectations,” general manager Mitch Kupchak said Wednesday. “I do believe that [Bryant will] get back and he’ll play this season. You won’t be able to look at him and say that he’s hurt.”

It is unknown when the 35-year-old Bryant will return to the court for the Lakers.

“I don’t have a timeline,” Kupchak said. “I really don’t.”

Bryant is currently working out on an altered-gravity treadmill at 75 percent of his body weight.  He is scheduled to make $30.45 million this season.
