Football scholarships that were taken away more than a year ago as punishment for the alleged cover-up of Sandusky’s abuse will slowly be restored, the NCAA announced Tuesday.

Penn State will get 75 scholarships in 2014, 80 in 2015, and the full 85 scholarships in 2016, ESPN reports.

Officials said the current four-year post-season ban could also be amended.

Penn State also paid a $60 million fine.

Sandusky is currently in state prison, serving a 30- to 60-year sentence for sexual abuse.
