The two-time Pro Bowler blindsided Sullivan with a hit to the knees during an interception return by Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy. The play was nullified, because Suh was flagged for a personal foul on the play.

Suh was suspended for two games in 2011 after he stomped on Evan Dietrich-Smith of Green Bay. Last season, he was fined $30,000 for unnecessary roughness after he kicked Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin area.

The NFL has also previously fined Suh for roughing up quarterbacks Andy Dalton of Cincinnati, Jay Cutler of Chicago and Jake Delhomme, who was playing with Cleveland at the time.
