Pocatello Lifting Open Burn Ban

(POCATELLO, ID) – The city of Pocatello is lifting its ban on open burning within city limits starting October 1. Fire Chief David Gates says that given the recent rain showers that have saturated the Gate City, coupled with cooler temperatures, there’s no significant danger posed to the public. All burning other than recreational fires will still require a special permit.
