Pocatello Native Stabbed to Death in Seattle

(SEATTLE, WA) – A Washington man who was stabbed to death after a Seattle Sounders soccer game earlier this month has ties to eastern Idaho.  Forty-six-year-old Troy Wolff was an English professor at Shoreline Community College, and grew up in Pocatello, before moving to Sandy, Utah where he finished high school. Wolff was defending his girlfriend when he was fatally stabbed in the neck and torso. The incident, which police described as “unprovoked” and “random” happened after a September 13 game at CenturyLink Field. A suspect is now in custody.
