(LONDON) — A temporary scaffold screen will be put up outside a London building that has reportedly burned a car as well as other buildings in the area.
The reflection of the sunlight off the building’s windows started fires and damaged nearby businesses, the BBC reports.
The sun’s rays have allegedly melted parts of a Jaguar, sizzled paintwork, and caused tiles to fall.
The 37-story building is currently under construction.
Developers Land Securities and Canary Wharf said they are looking into longer-term solutions, the BBC reports.
