Steven Hauschka drilled a 45-yard field goal in overtime to help the Seahawks defeat the Houston Texans 23-20, propelling them to their first ever 4-0 start.

The Texans (2-2) led 20-6 before the Seahawks came storming back.  Richard Sherman picked off a Matt Schaub pass and returned it 58-yards for a touchdown with under three minutes remaining to tie the game at 20.

“It was important for our ball club just to win on the road, just to continue our win streak,” Sherman said. “I think that was important to us, to be that stepping stone, to continue to grow as a team.”

The defense stepped up late for the Seahawks, as they did not allow the Texans to score after halftime.  Schaub passed for 355 yards with two touchdowns, but it was his two interceptions that will haunt him for the next several days.

“It hurts,” he said of the loss. “It hurts bad.”

Russell Wilson threw for 123 yards, while Marshawn Lynch rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown.
