Jacksonville (0-3), who scored 11 points combined in its previous two games, was held to 265 yards of offense and turned the ball over three times in the loss.

“I was fired up. We played just the way we should,” Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. “A lot of people expected and asked questions about letdowns and all that type of stuff, and we didn’t see it that way at all.”

The Seahawks (3-0) scored the first 31 points of the game allowing them to rest Russell Wilson midway through the third quarter.

Chad Henne completed 18 of 38 passes for 235 yards and two interceptions in the loss.

The Seahawks will take their undefeated record to Houston next weekend when they meet up with the Texans.
