(WEST YELLOWSTONE, MT) – A firefighter was injured while parachuting into rugged backcountry along the Idaho-Montana border Friday. Officials say the smokejumper remains hospitalized after sustaining a hip injury. The man was fighting the Two Top Fire along the Continental Divide just east of Henrys Lake. The victim had to be airlifted out of the area and was listed in stable condition Monday evening. Heavy showers Monday afternoon were expected to help douse the blaze, which burned more than 130 acres.
