Bridgewater completed 23 of 28 passes for 355 yards. He also threw five touchdowns and one interception.

The early Heisman Trophy candidate threw touchdown passes of 34, 19, 27, 40, and 25 yards against Ohio, showcasing his playmaking ability.

“It gives us a ton of momentum, but we also know that this is just a crumb of what we’re trying to accomplish,” Bridgewater said after the win. “We’re crumb hunting, what we would call it now. We say crumbs because it keeps you hungry but it also keeps you humbled. It just gives us a ton of momentum heading into next week, and we’re just going to come back and prepare.”

Meanwhile, receivers Damian Copeland and Kai De La Cruz were the main beneficiaries of Bridgewater’s big day. Copleand caught 6 passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns while Cruz caught 4 passes for 116 yards.
