Tennis Star Novak Djokovic Engaged

LEON NEAL/AFP/GettyImages(LOS ANGELES) — Life is good for Novak Djokovic. He’s the No. 1 tennis player in the world, he won the Australian Open this year and now he’s engaged!
The tennis heartthrob, 26, posted on Instagram a picture of him and new fiancee Jelena Ristic kissing alongside the caption, “We’re ENGAGED!!! Getting used to introducing Jelena as my fiancé and future wife. Couldn’t be happier.”
He followed up that post with one on Twitter thanking everyone for the “wonderful wishes.”
The couple first met in high school before he was the world’s top tennis pro and have been together ever since — eight years in all.
Ristic is a former model and currently runs her new fiance’s Novak Djokovic Foundation, which aims to help children in Serbia.
