Texans’ Ed Reed Excited About His Return to Baltimore
Published at(NEW YORK) — This weekend the Houston Texans will travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens. It is an important early-season game for both teams, but it is extra special for safety Ed Reed.
Reed spent his first 11 seasons in the NFL with the Ravens, but during the offseason, the 35-year-old signed a free agent contract with the Houston Texans.
“Coming back to see the boys, see the coaches, it’s going to be awesome,” Reed told the Baltimore Sun. “It really is going to be a special day with me coming back, Ray going into the Ring of Honor, the Texans playing the Ravens.”
Reed has yet to play this season for the Texans due to a hip injury. He will be a game time decision going into Sunday’s contest.
In 11 seasons, Reed won one Super Bowl, and his 61 regular season interceptions rank tenth on the all-time list.
