“The Chew” Host Daphne Oz Is Pregnant

ABC/Ida Mae Astute(NEW YORK) — The Chew is kicking off its new season with huge news: co-host Daphne Oz is pregnant, her rep confirmed to ABC News.
This will be the first child for Oz, 27, who married investment fund analyst John Jovanovic in 2010. This will also be the first grandchild for Oz’s famous father, Dr. Memhet Oz, and his wife, Lisa.
Oz discussed her pregnancy during the taping of the show’s season three premiere, which is set to air Sept. 9, after telling her co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly and Carla Hall about a trip she and her husband took to Italy and France. After adding that she wanted to show them a photo, she revealed a sonogram.
According to an ABC spokesperson, “Several hosts leapt to their feet to hug and kiss her, a few shed tears of happiness, while Michael Symon proclaimed that he suspected something when she did not have coffee this morning, and Mario joked that the sonogram looks like him.”
Oz just completed her first trimester and is due in 2014.
