(NEW YORK) — The Minnesota Vikings claimed ex-Chicago Bears offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb off waivers Sunday.
The 25-year-old Webb, who was cut by the Bears on Friday, started 44 games for Chicago during the past three seasons. During that time the Bears allowed 149 sacks, the second most in the NFL.
Webb will make $630,000 this season from the Vikings with a chance to earn $1.323 million due to incentives.
Webb is expected to backup tackles Phil Loadholt and Matt Kalil.
