Badger company announced a recall on all lots of its four ounce SPF 30 Baby Sunscreen Lotion and one lot of its four-ounce SPF 30 Kids Sunscreen Lotion after reports of microbial contamination.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration  announced the recall in a press release earlier this week. The products were tested and confirmed to be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida parapsilosis and Acremonium fungi.

The Badger brand sunscreens are sold in both the United States and Canada, the FDA says.

Anyone who purchased the sunscreen lotion should not use the product and is urged to return them to the business where they were purchased for a full refund. Customers can also contact Badger directly at 1-800-603-6100 or via email at recalls@badgerbalm.com.
