Water Causes Obstacles for Fairgoers
Published at | Updated at(BLACKFOOT, ID) – After Tuesday’s downpour and with more wet weather on the way, maintenance crews at the Eastern Idaho State Fair have been busy trying to deal with the water. Superintendent Barry Adams tells the Idaho State Journal that it’s been a round-the-clock job trying to thaw out low-lying paths, which they’ve battled with shovels and lots of straw, but the show must go on. He says they’ve focused much of their efforts on keeping the track dry, which is important for Grandstand events each evening.
