(NEW YORK) — Beyonce is giving fans a peek at some new music. In a new trailer for the DVD of her HBO documentary Life is but a Dream, the 17-time Grammy winner lets fans hear a snippet of a brand new track.
The new song is called “God Made You Beautiful” and can be heard throughout the minute-and-a-half trailer for the HBO documentary that first aired earlier this year.
The Daily News reports that the star is looking at an end of year release for her fifth album.
The singer released a few new tracks including the controversial “Bow Down/I Been On” and Pepsi commercial track “Grown Woman” earlier this year. None of these records were named as official singles.
Rapper and producer Pharrell spoke to Billboard about the singer’s highly anticipated new album.
“B’s album is crazy. Let me tell you what it is. She’s very particular. She’s a Virgo. And she’s not going to put it out until it’s ready and feels like it’s right to her,” Pharrell said. “She’s got a very specific taste. I guess that’s the reason she’s Beyonce. Her name is recognizable around the globe and that’s huge.”
One Republic lead singer and producer Ryan Tedder told Australia’s Herald Sun that he also is working on the new album. “Beyonce’s album will be mind-blowing,” Tedder said.
