(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Blackfoot’s mayoral election is less than a week away, and one of the big issues surrounding this year’s race is the possibility of a new overpass or underpass. Each of the candidates are aware of the growing problem of trains blocking several railroad crossings through town each day, causing delays that can last for over an hour. An overpass or underpass would help alleviate that problem. Candidates Paul Loomis and Dan Cravens say federal grants are a good option to finance the project, which could be completed within five years
