(NEW YORK) — The finale of the Emmy-winning AMC series Breaking Bad may be in the books, but series creator Vince Gilligan reveals to The Hollywood Reporter that we haven’t necessarily seen the last of its iconic characters.
Gilligan tells the publication he’d love to bring the entire Breaking Bad cast back to reprise their roles in Better Call Saul, the upcoming spinoff based on Bob Odenkirk’s character.
“Personally,” he said, “I’d have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then.”
The Hollywood Reporter says Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White, and Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman, are among the actors who’ve already expressed interest in making appearances.
Better Call Saul is expected to debut sometime between the summer and fall of 2014.
