(INDIANAPOLIS) — The Indianapolis Colts placed running back Ahmad Bradshaw on injured reserve Tuesday due to a neck injury. The seven-year NFL veteran suffered the injury during the Colts’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sept. 22.
The Colts signed Bradshaw as a free agent this past off-season after he spent his entire career with the New York Giants. During his time with Big Blue, he won two Super Bowl titles.
In three games with the Colts this season, Bradshaw rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns on 41 carries. He also had seven receptions for 42 yards.
