(NEW YORK) — The Dallas Cowboys will have a tough task at hand on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Denver comes into Dallas at 4-0 and look poised for another playoff run.
The Cowboys are 2-2 and head coach Jason Garrett knows his defense will have a lot to handle with Peyton Manning.
“He’s just a rare individual and has been for 15 years,” Garrett said of Manning on Wednesday. “He’s as good a quarterback as ever played and he has been for a decade and a half.”
Manning is on pace to have one of the best seasons any quarterback has ever had in the NFL. After four games this year, he’s thrown 16 touchdowns, zero interceptions, 1,470 yards, and has a 75 percent completion rating and 9.42 yards per attempt.
“He’s just playing really well; his preparation is like none other. His command is like none other, his competitive spirit is like none other, and he’s just a fantastic player,” Garrett continued.
The Cowboys are 2-0 at home this season. Broncos are 1-0 on the road.
