(FORT HALL, ID) – A two-vehicle crash took the life of a Fort Hall man late Thursday night. Idaho State Police say 40-year-old Vieto Appenay was headed northbound along U.S. Highway 91 near Shoshone-Bannock High School when another driver failed to yield on Border School Crossing. Appenay, who was on a motorcycle, collided with the other vehicle. He was taken to Portneuf Medical Center where he later died. Crews blocked the intersection for a little over an hour. The other driver, who authorities identified as 69-year-old Shirley Boles of Pocatello, was uninjured.
