(FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga.) — Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with lingering hamstring and ankle injuries.
The four-time Pro Bowler suffered a high-ankle sprain during the preseason and injured his hamstring in a 30-28 loss to the New York Jets in Week 5. He has not been able to practice all week.
The 1-4 Falcons will head into Sunday’s game without two of their top playmakers, with Julio Jones already sidelined for the remainder of the season with a foot injury.
White’s impressive consecutive games played streak will end at 133. He is the team’s sixth-leading receiver with 14 catches for 129 yards.
