(EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.) — Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier announced on Wednesday that quarterback Josh Freeman has concussion-like symptoms.
Frazier said that he believes the injury happened during the third quarter of the Giants game on Monday, but Freeman did not say anything about it.
Freeman’s status is questionable for their game against the Packers on Sunday night.
“We have to move forward as if he is not playing on Sunday night,” Frazier said on Wednesday.
The Vikings will send Christian Ponder out against Green Bay if Freeman is unable to suit up.
Freeman was 20 of 53 and overthrew 16 attempts Monday night, which is the most by any quarterback since the start of the 2006 season.
