(EARTH CITY, Mo.) — Jeff Fisher will coach against the team he spent 16 seasons with when the St. Louis Rams (3-5) host the Tennessee Titans (3-4) on Sunday.
Fisher’s final season in Tennessee was in 2010 and he looks at it as just another game on the schedule.
“There’s 16 players on the roster that were there when I was there, so the roster is just about completely turned over,” Fisher said on Wednesday. “There’s just a few coaches on the staff. So, the front office is turned over. To me, this is just another opponent.”
Fisher led the team to Super Bowl XXXIV and collected 147 wins (including playoffs) during his tenure as the Oilers/Titans coach.
“Now, yes, I have great memories there and I owe the organization an awful lot or we wouldn’t be standing here right now,” Fisher said. “That includes the Adams family, but as far as the challenges this week, we’ve got challenges with their offense, their defense and their special teams.”
