Leaking Gas Line In Pocatello

(POCATELLO, ID) – Two streets were closed for more than an hour due to a natural gas leak in Old Town Pocatello Monday.  City officials say an electrical worker accidentally broke a gas line on the 300-block of West Clark Street, prompting the evacuation of two buildings, including the Wells Fargo Advisors building on Main Street. No injuries or explosions were reported, and crews from the Pocatello Fire Department were able to secure the scene by 1:30 p.m. They say the contractor who broke the line was quick to contact emergency officials, potentially saving several lives
