Lindsay Lohan Sued over 2012 Car Crash
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Lindsay Lohan has been sued over the 2012 car crash that ultimately led to her rehab stint earlier this year.
In June 2012, Lohan’s Porsche struck a dump truck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, Calif. She later faced charges in connection with the accident, including lying to police.
TMZ says the truck driver, James Johnson, is now suing the Mean Girls star, claiming he suffered great physical, mental and nervous pain as a result of the crash. He seeks unspecified damages.
In March, Lohan accepted a plea deal under which she was sentenced to 90 days in rehab, among other things. She completed her rehab stint in late July.
