(MCCAMMON, ID) – The mayoral election in McCammon next month will be determined entirely by write-in candidates. Incumbent Mayor Ken Bullock missed Bannock County’s deadline to have his name put on the ballot. Though Bullock is still running, he says it’s likely that this year’s election will be interesting. The town of 800 has historically had a very low voter turnout, with less than 40 people showing up to vote in the last election. Those seeking to run as a write-in candidate must file the proper paperwork with the county in order to be recognized.
