Monster.com’s survey of 3,600 people worldwide reveals that just over three out of four people feel the “Sunday night blues” in anticipation of going to work the next day.

Meanwhile, only about 22 percent say that Mondays don’t cause them any angst the evening before.

Monster.com career advice expert Mary Ellen Slayter says that feeling blue Sunday night isn’t unusual given that people don’t want their weekends to end.

Slayter claims one way to reduce the stress is by spending a few minutes at work Friday preparing for the week to come, including prioritizing the calendar and tying up loose ends.
