New Restrictions on ATV Hunting
Published at | Updated at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The state of Idaho is enforcing new rules about hunting with ATVs and motorcycles. A spokesman for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game says there are 30 hunting units with motorized hunting rules in place. That means that hunters are still allowed to use ATVs in the pursuit of game, but only on roads capable of handling full-sized vehicles. Even roads capable of handling ATVs but not larger vehicles will remain off limits to those actively hunting animals. They advise hunters to review all regulations for vehicles in their particular areas prior to heading out into the field.
