Stanford (6-1, 4-1) bounces back from last weekend’s loss to Utah by outgaining UCLA 419 to 266 in total yards.

“We have the Pac 12 Championship….the Rose Bowl on the line,” Gaffney said when talking about the importance of the win. “We know what we got and we came out with some intensity.”

Quarterback Kevin Hogan completed 18 of 25 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown. Devon Cajuste caught seven of those passes for 109 yards before leaving the game in the fourth quarter with a leg injury.

UCLA (5-1, 2-1) loses to Stanford for the sixth straight time. The Bruins, who came into the game averaging 45.8 points per game, couldn’t get their offense on track.

Stanford safety Jordan Richards intercepted UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley twice in the loss.
