One Hospitalized in Shelley Crash

(SHELLEY, ID) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash in Shelley Tuesday night. Authorities say 20-year-old Cortez Minijares of Idaho Falls failed to yield at the intersection of 1500 North and 800 East. He then struck another vehicle driven by 54-year-old Debra Hulse of Rigby. Although neither driver was hurt, a passenger in one of the vehicles, whom police identified as 20-year-old Daniel Ortiz of Idaho Falls, was taken to EIRMC for treatment. Ortiz was not wearing a seat belt.
