Pocatello Among Cheapest Places to Retire

(POCATELLO, ID) – AARP Magazine has listed Pocatello as one of the top five most affordable places to retire. Officials ranked Pocatello on the list for annual cost-of-living budgets under $30,000 a year. Experts looked at the Gate City’s median home price of $127,500, as well as its proximity to outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and watersports. They noted that when it comes to a wide variety of restaurants and affordable entertainment, eastern Idaho is among the nation’s best places to live.
